North-American Culture Studies
Curriculum
In order to be allowed to sit for the Master's Final Stale Exam, a single subject student has to get at least 120 credits while fulfilling the following requirements:
a. Successfully complete the following compulsory courses (60 credits):
- SAKS01 Identity and Alterity in Literature and Culture: Theory, Methodology, Analysis
- SAKS02 Multilingualism, Language Change and Language Policy
- SAKS03 Cultural Perspectives on the Colonization of North America
- SAKS04 North American Cultural Geographies
- SAKS05 Indigenous culture in Latin America
- SAKS06 French culture of North America
- SAKS80 Internship
- SAKS91 Master's Thesis Seminar I
- SAKS92 Master's Thesis Seminar II
- SAKS93 Master's Thesis
b. Choose 2 modules (either EL and FL or EL and SL) (total 40 credits). Courses within a module have to be finished with exam.
